You then copy/paste some code back into the installer. You authorize SS2 by creating an account at IK, then "register" it by putting in the serial number on the box, or on your account. Maybe just call them and tell them you want to download and install it instead of installing from the DVD. I don't own the DVD, but the download version is easy to install. So, does anyone have this plug-in? Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong? I will never, ever, ever buy anything from IK Multimedia ever again. I don't think I'll ever get anything for my money from these guys. This has been going on for over a week now. I scanned my hard drive for errors and came up negative. If I could find the "Disk Utility and Repair" program or whatever it is, do I then use it on my drive? The DVD? Hard Drive? There's nothing on my hard drive that resembles what the customer service guy referred to.

Mind you, I'm not the most computer savvy, but I'm not terrible either. I also cannot find "HD" or any disk utilities anywhere on my computer or on the disks that came with the software. I don't know if they've read any of my emails, as I've mentioned in all 3 emails that I tried installing the sounds on the DVD and wasn't allowed to due to a registration problem. It read:Ĭlick to expand.Again, another totally unhelpful email. I couldn't believe they actually sent back this message. So, I send an email to their tech support. I can't figure out if I need to register the DVD seperately, or something, and I can't find any way to do that anyway. It wouldn't let me, and gave me a "this product must be registered" message. I then tried installing the sounds on the DVD like the instructions said. I registered it like they said, and got the authorization codes. Amplitude was cool, but it really, really bogged my little crappy computer down that it was totally unusable. The shells come up like they should, but there's no presets, and therefore, no noise can come out of any of the plug-ins. So, first off, most of the plug-ins don't work for me. First off, the guy at GC said that the box included all of them, not a "pick one" scenario, but whatever. It had Amplitude, and the T-RackS mastering stuff, and Sonik Synth. I got the IK Multimedia Multibox 2 - a collection of plug-ins that you can try out, and then choose one after a 10 day trial period.
